Second Character...
Mixy scanned the back row. She shook her head. Being late on a test day, just how much is he going to slack? A couple of guys waved at her. She turned back to the front coldly. It was going to be 7 soon, and the invigilator would be here any minute...
"All right, I'm taking the attendance now..." the invigilator went through the list of names. "All right, so everyone for class 01 'cept for Malix is here, am I right?" he announced, scanning the class once more for the sign of the geeky retainee. "Looks like someone's going to be retained for another year, huh." He smirked, giving a shrug. The guy had always turned up late for his class, bombarded him with incessant rebuttals. Now getting rid of him shouldn't be a problem, bad conduct for two years will be his undoing.
"Who are you talking about Sir?" a sarcastic voice rang from the back of the room. The whole class turned to the back of the class for a look. The seat is still empty. "Who said that?" an annoyed expression slowly took over the confident grin. "I repeat, who said that? Own up now!" The whole class hustled, whispers and murmurings filled the room. As the invigilator opened his mouth again, the voice shot out again, from the same spot. "It's me, here, under the table!" It was Malix's voice. The agitated invigilator wasted no time hesitating, he propped down onto all fours and peered to the back of the class.
The class was silent, for a while. Mixy suddenly shrieked, jumping up onto her feet, hands pulling the skirt. "Hey!! What are you looking at!!" The rest of the girls caught the message, and all jumped onto their feet, screaming. The invigilator was lost for words. Hands up in front of him, he tried to defend himself. The guys from the class began appraoching the invigilator as well. In face with a 20-men strong mob, the invigilator could only stumbled backwards. The distance was closing by the second, and he needed to do something. Explaining was futile, but if they are not calmed down, he cannot guarantee his own safety...
Away from the commotion, Mixy showed a thumbs-up with a right, and Malix stood at the back door grinning triumphantly.
